Stay Together For The Kids – This is my favourite track on the album. Great beat and amazing singing, but after litenin to it a couple of hundred times it starts to get a LITTLE boring. The Rock Show – This is the most well known song on the album purely because it was released as the first single. About being really sad, and not having a life or a girlfriend, but wanting one. Story of a lonely Guy : This one is pretty good, but it gets a bit boring listening to it over and over. I haven’t got a clue what this one is about but it is pretty rude and crude. The lyrics (and the name) suggest that this is about having a girlfriend who you know from a chat room who breaks up with you, but she lives quite near so you cant avoid seeing her with others.įirst Date – This is obvious isn’t it! This is about gong out on a first date with a really beautiful girl and wanting to make the night seem like forever, and wishing you werent so nervous.Įveryones been there right? Happy Holidays You Bas-tard – This is a short song (42 seconds long) and is one of the comedy tracks I told you about. The singing starts out right away, and Mark is the singer for this song. Online Songs – This is also a good song, but not the best on the album. The lyrics are pretty good on this song but not the sort that you would expect from Blink 182. It starts off with the guitar and drums then the drum stops, then it starts again. All of the gags come in Song form, and they are all funny as hell! Below I will write a track listings then a review of each song.ġ1 : Give Me One Good Reason 12 : Shut Upġ4 : What Went Wrong 15 : Time To Break Up 16 : F**k A Dog ORġ5 : Mothers Day Now on to the song reviews Anthem Part II – This is one of the best songs on the album. It is like a mix of both Dude Ranch and Buddha (but better quality obviously!) with sprinkles of Enema Of the State to give those newer fans something to sing along to, but giving the older fans (such as myself) a roller coaster ride of punk rock mayhem. The album itself is filled with laughs and gags, enough in fact to do a whole stage show on!! The quality of these jokes shows that Blink have not lost thier sense of humour and are still childish at heart even though they have quite obviously grown up a great deal. By that I mean a more hardcore skate punk sound less associated with pop and pop fans. This the new offering from the san Diego threesome Blink 182 takes the band bakc to it''s earlier roots.
